As our lives have moved more and more online, so too have our vulnerabilities. According to a study by Plan International, almost 60% of women worldwide have experienced online harassment such as cyberbullying, stalking, revenge porn, and doxxing. In Malaysia, we have seen online backlash against the Women's March, harassment against  students who have called out rape culture in schools, as well as V2K, the infamous Telegram group that disseminated intimate images of women without consent. In this session, Serene Lim, Partner-Director at KRYSS Network will speak on the state of online gender-based violence, as well as discuss steps in addressing it.
