Journalism Wins Nobel Peace Prize!
Journalists Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov won the Nobel Peace Prize on 8 Oct 2021. This comes at a time when press freedom is increasingly under threat. The Nobel Committee awarded them the prize for their efforts in safeguarding the freedom of expression, which is a precondition for lasting democracy and peace.
